A great idea but unfortunately didn’t work for our board. I checked the length and was assured that it works on boards that size and larger, but did not check the width. The board we have from a surf school is too wide and the claw doesn’t fit. Surf claw wouldn’t provide a refund because it was taken out of the original packaging – which you have to do in order to try it. A total waste of money.
So very worth the purchase. My board is super easy to carry now, much more controlled in the wind when compared to a strap. Without the surf claw I find I strain my arm and shoulders getting the board to the beach. Very glad I bought the surf claw. Friends were even so impressed that they are also going to get themselves one.
